Sammie Okposo - Good God

When I saw the title of this, I chuckled to myself a bit, as I immediately though of the exasperation, “Good God!” (and perhaps that’s appropriate) rather than using “Good” in the descriptive sense. But if you know about Sammie Okposo, you’ll know this is a Pop/Gospel song sending praises to God.

Thanks again to the wonders of youtube, I stumbled upon this video earlier today. And while the gratuitous color filters, aerial camera moves and setting do get old very quickly, the message is the key here… unfortunately the video did little to reinforce that. Regardless, enjoy the Naija Pop/Gospel sounds of Sam Okposo.

    I saw him at NEA over the weekend. No other act compared. This guy had the crowd jumping. Most of the other performers with the exception of a couple of other artists like PaJ, were just shouting annoyingly
