German Tour featuring Eedris, Mode9, Ruggedman, African China & more – happening now!

The other day Mode9 mentioned he was on tour in Germany and it reminded me that I’d yet to post about the tour that I first heard about several months prior, on an episode of Nigeria International.

The Urban Africa Club: Lagos tour brings the “Urban sounds from Lagos” (albeit very much from the hip-hop/pop perspective) to Germany in a five-stop tour. Reportedly on the roster are, Eedris Abdulkareem, African China, Ade Bantu, Rule Clean, Ruggedman, Mode9 and One Kilo.

Mode9 mentioned both Eedris and Ruggedman were present with him, so along with the incredible music, there’s sure to be drama to match! I wish I could make it. For the rest of our European readers, there are two remaining stops - don’t miss out!:

28 März, München, Zerwirk

29 März, Berlin, HAU

30 März, Leipzig, Conne Island

*31 März, Hamburg, Hamburger Volkshochschule *

*1 April, Köln, Stadtgarten *

Note: The concert in Hamburg will take palce at Hamburger Volkshochschule, Berner Heerweg 183 ,22159 Hamburg

It’s really nice to see someone stepping up an putting together such a quality production. It’s also exciting to see our artists being introduced to a wider audience. To the crew that put this together - more grease to your collective elbows.

i love king dr saheed osupa fuji music is very educative, and preferable than all those fuji music played on our television station.

  83. opdot Says:

I like the concert, but what normally pain me is that whenever such concert is been organize, the fuji artist will be neglected which did not suppose to be so. All this fuju artist too have something to offer, i will appreciate it when another concert will come up, just include one or two fuji artist. But lets be specific, if you can include saheed osupa in the next one i will appreciate it because of his philosophy and the lyrics, infact the guy is much concern about our culture (nigeria culture). Please think about that.

  84. opdot Says:

SAHEED OSUPA, YOU ARE THE BUMB KEEP IT UP.

I WANT THE ORGANIZER OF THE PROGRAMME TO TRY AND APPRECIATE FUJI MUSIC, NOT ONLY HIPHOP, IF YOU LOOK AT KING SAHEED OSUPA’S MUSIC, YOU WILL KNOW THAT THIS GUY IS THE BEST AND TO APPRECIATE HIS EFORT, THEIR IS NOTHING BAD IF YOU INCLUDE HIS NAME IN THE CONCERT, MAKE A RESEARCH ABOUT HIM, AND I’M SURE, THEIR IS NO COMPANY OR ORGANIZATION THAT WILL WORK WITH THIS GUY AND RUN INTO DEBT, COS THE GUY IS TOO GOOD. KSO, KEEP IT UP

  85. osteo digit Says:

nothing do you,but i like you guys to come over to akure there a lot of wasted talented artiste you can trap a stuff from them they really want to get you guy to do whole lot of thing for them as an individual

  86. Anonymous Says:

    KING OSUPA IS IT!
It is so sad that some people don’t know wat is called music. The junks by KWAM 1 and Pasuma are all for the idiotic. KWAM 1 has not sung any new song in seven years; and Pasuma will only re-present Osupa’s creative thought and call it new song. Listen to Endorsement, the latest one from King Osupa, you will know that the guy is stupendously blessed mentally. He, to me, is a genius, who may not be appreciated by the intellectually impotent and idiotic ones. Pasuma himself, and even KWAM 1 knows that he sings quite better than them. Osupa has no rival. He is a super composer, specially sent by God to wake up sleeping minds will soul-searching lyrics. Indeed, he has a place in history!

  87. ogunyemi afolabi Says:

Hello! i think when we talk about deep phillosophical lyrics,King saheed osupa is the best among d rest.He is endowned with this thing. Even his movies has testified to it.Pasuma is trying but i am sorry, you cant compare him with osupa. They became rivals right from the scratch mainly because pasuma was using osupas unrecorded songs for his own album. Osupa is now the most sougth fuji musician by any marketer. He has recorded more than 21 albums [excluding collabo with other musician] and more are still to come.I compare him with the likes of fela, bob marley,e.t.c.More grease to your elbow kING SAHEED OSUPA!.
