Eedris Appologizes to 50 Cent, Kora Awards 2007
After performing at the Kora Awards 2007, Eedris Abdulkareem apologizes to 50 Cent for their previous encounter.
I can’t say I ever expected to see these two on stage together again. 50 was probably just as surprised by the apology as I was watching it. Needless to say, I’m glad we can finally close the book on this one.

Is, or was he a made man, he was kinda kissing 50 cent ass, but it was heartwelming looking at it from my point of view. I never been to Africa, but the people were welcomming a long lost brother home.

Only thing that confuses me with this deal is, whats up with Eedris and this slave trade stuff, are Native Africans and Blacks in the Western world that out of touch. 50 Cent wasnt no dam slave. I mean we know how we got over here, but that was 400 years ago.

What in heaven was that? “50 I love you?” screamed out like a little reprimanded kid? I am all against reuniting and the whole 9 yards but as a Nigerian, that right there put us back a couple of years! Apologize like a man, not like a little girl. And quite frankly if there was any beef between both of them 50 would not be on stage. It sounds like Eedris thought his beef with 50 would take him places. All it did was get him a sharp “Ohh its nothing, some African trying to beef” response on Hot 97, and now Eedris is trying to suck up to him. “I love you?”
Wonders shall never end. The “Nigerian” mentality never ceases to amaze me.

I saw that on the bissi show the other night. As a proud Nigerian I have to ask ‘why in gods name are we sucking up to 50 cent.’? For goodness sakes, can anyone see one of our naija artists being dragged on stage in America like that pratically begging for a second chance.?. Its about time Nigerians saw there true self worth and forget about these arrogent American rappers.
