African Cup of Nations - Ghana Go Hear Wein!
As many know by now, host of Africa’s top Football superpowers (Super Eagles included,) failed to qualify for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Because of this embarrasment reality check, many see this years African Cup of Nations hosted by Egypt as a chance to redeem themselves and prove who the best in Africa really are.
On the heels of todays Group-D opening match with Nigeria facing Ghana, I came a across these words of encouragement (and a few yabs) from US-based musician and self-acclaimed soccer nut, Pa-J. Laying down rhymes over the Neptunes/Snoop - Drop it Like It’s Hot riddim… the lyrics really made me laugh:
When it comes to Nations Cup,
Ghana Go Hear Wien…
Na den, them go sabi what’s up
Ghana Go Hear Wien…
Shebi na 3-0 dem go chop
Ghana Go Hear Wien…
When the green white green enter the green grass
Show time, make we skata anything dey waka pass
Best of luck to the Super Eagles in the African Cup of Nations 2006 - I’m looking forward to watching some excellent football in the coming weeks!

good to know you’re back and steaming. i’ve taken note of the feed change. haven’t had the opportunity to hear the song but i can tell from the lyrics that it’ll be real funny. interestingly i’ve been pre-informed of the song. Pa-J advertised it himself on cybereagles. goodluck to our boys, peace man!

I am playing music at the Stadium for the Mexico-Ghana soccer match here in Dallas, Texas, USA on March 1 and I am looking for songs that the team likes to hear when they are on the field or the fans are used to hearing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

ghaninas are the best we was using the african cup of nations as a trainiig session we had a bribe with the ref that they should give you a freekick so you can score to banish the anger of not qualifying for the big stage world cup. the nigerian squad should retire

hi pa j u know the best team qualifiers for the world cup so i think the best has done it. also my statistics show me the your group was the easiest group but you let angola who does it even know how to play football has top your group.
nigeria players are all fat and lazy look at kanu, martins, yakubu and what they team is and compare it with ghanaians players such as essien, appiah, kuffor, addo, gyan, muntari and mensah. they play good football that is why they are always in the first team and winning thing.
if talking about the african cup of nation in egypt, that was lucky go from taiwo because u know u can play with us eventhough that was our second string. u took it quick without the refree knowing. when it comes to africa cup of nation the best team always wins. so tell many has nigeria won and compares it with ghana. u know ghana are far better than nigeria.

nigeria players should retire
arise, ghana, nigeria players should retire
they all are lying, because when i ask some players they told me the following reasons.
kanu said because he doesn’t want have money to pay rent
when ask martin he said he is doesn,t know when he was born
and finally yakubu said he is planning to play for portugal dat is why he got snub nigeria in the africa up of nation.
